PPC - Pay Per Click Campaigns

I have recently returned from London. I visited some of the search engine optimization seminars in London, and it was great. Till then I was a pure SEO, but in London something clicked. I talked with so many different managers SEM experts and SEO in London barely exists.

They are all doing PPC, can you imagine that!!!!!

I thought London companies use SEO like in Los Angeles, but no, most of the companies rely on PPC. I talked with guys who are taking care of different TV network PPC campaigns and we talked about SEO. Well they don't use SEO at all.

That shocked and amazed me at the same time.

I mean working for a big company in London like SKY, SONY, you have an amazing budget. The monthly budget reaches 1 Million Pounds. Can you realize how much money that is?

It is so big that you can go wild with PPC. And the conversions are great. I mean some PPC companies are getting money only from affiliates, like insurance companies.

The market in London is huge and the demand also. I talked with a friend of mine who is living there for over 15 years, and he told me there is so much money in London. Constantly the new building are popping up everywhere. It is a business Mecca.

And doing the PPC is the way to do it. Mostly nobody is doing SEO at all. The conversions, (ROI) must be amazing that most of them just rely on Adwords and Yahoo marketing.

I had experience with PPC from before, but I generally use SEO for my clients. But if you have a big budget, PPC is the way to go. Of course there are many factors in the game, like profit, ROI, CPC…………..
