Latest SEO studies shows that being #1 in search engines is the best. Users click on #1 position 34 % of the time and the #2 position gets clicked much less only 12 % of time. So it is important to be ranked in at least top 20 position. Another study shows that 75% of internet searchers click only on the results on the first page that is top 10. Researcher Jakob Nielsen from Georgia Institute of Tech claims that internet users never check the results on the second page. So it is very important that you choose the keywords that you will be able to rank in at least top 10. To figure that out you can use different keyword research tools like Wordtracker, check your competition for those keywords. Sometimes you can find a few niche keywords that nobody optimizes for and they still bring traffic. For help with keyword research, contact our professionals. Another important aspect is a lot of fresh, frequently updated content rich in different keyword phrases. Sometimes it is better to rank for 100 smaller keywords that 2 major ones. So do a research.
