Feeds is such a great module. You can mass update all elements of your nodes, products, taxonomies, users, etc. It works by importing a source data file, where you carefully input all the fields you want to import for example with a CSV file. 

What is Drupal CMS?

Drupal is an open-source content management system (CMS) and content management framework (CMF) written in PHP language and distributed under the GNU General Public License. That means that the software is completely free.

If we compare Drupal with Joomla, almost every module is commercial in Joomla...and comparing it with WordPress where almost every free module is just a catch to upgrade to the premium version...Drupal stays free. That means all the modules, themes are free. There are some commercial plugins and themes but really rare.

First go to mysql and select your table for example I am using uc_products table. that is used in Drupal Ubercart site.

Then you open the file in excel, and edit the data, remember, don't change how the rows are sorted, if you do that, put everything back like it was. 

Drupal was again the best and correct choice for a new site. I had to build a new site, this time ecommerce site and I did not know what to pick, I thought Magento would do the trick, but it is rigid and not so much flexible.

But drupal just blew me away. 100 % satisfaction!!

Drupal already has clean URLs and that is a big plus, you don’t need a special module for clean SEO friendly URLs. It needs a module for meta tags called node words but that can be easily added. But there are still some glitches that can be improved. The best way is to do it manually.

You know that SE don’t like duplicate content. And this is exactly what is happening inside Drupal site. With proper structure that is SEO friendly you can significantly increase the traffic to your site.

Let me explain why I wrote this article more than a decade ago. Drupal was really weird CMS back then. I think I was using Drupal 5 or 6. I canßt remember. But I was so frustrated because of some features that were lacking. On the other hand Wordpress and even Joomla looked better.
