Few Important Things You Should Know About Google And Ranking

How google values links

  1. Link quality depends on how long the link has been around
  2. How many links you get over time
  3. Are the links growing or decreasing over time
  4. Is the anchor text of your links changing all the time
  5. How long has the domain been registered for the incoming link
  6. For how long your domain will be registered (For haw many years your domain is registered in advance (bigger companies register domain for longer time)
  7. Usually the webmasters are buying recently expired domains that still have some links relevance but tho google patent document is showing that they will reset all those benefits for those links. - Hunting for recently expired domains is obviously gone out of the window.
  8. Google owns all the information from a registrar, they know they owner regardless if the domain has the privacy enabled ( For example Go Daddy offers privacy but this will not help aganst google retrieving the owner information of that domain)
  9. How old is your site – you may still be in google sandbox if you site is new – google sandbox might delay ranking for several months
  10. How often you update your site – daily or monthly
  11. Build your links naturally overtime – if you just put up a new site and purchase many links at the same time, google will spot this purchasing pattern of buying links – so if you are buying, then buy at same intervals – or purchase links evenly in the timeframe
